I love being a mom and I enjoy sharing my experiences and tips with other parents. Some of my favorite magazine articles have been about kindergarten-readiness for Parents Magazine, traveling with kids for Portland Family, preschool tips for parents in San Diego Family, winter fun ideas for Calgary’s Child and the joys of rediscovering my hometown with my kids for Blue Ridge Country Magazine. Mandy is a nationally-published writer based in the Pittsburgh area. Her work has appeared in magazines, newspapers and online publications across the United States and in Canada. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. You can find her online posting photos on Instagram, occasionally tweeting random stuff on Twitter, and sometimes musing about life on Facebook. You could probably find her in person at a Pens game, a Pirates game or out exploring the many museums and events in Pittsburgh. You might also just find her relaxing on a porch swing, eating ice cream...or maybe doing regular things like folding laundry and cooking dinner.
